WHO’S BEHIND DICKENS 2012?

Dickens 2012 is a conglomerate of groups, charities and trusts who are committed to promoting the literary works and social values of Charles Dickens in the wider community. Established in February 2007, its focus is to plan a coherent, exciting and achievable vision for the bicentenary celebrations in 2012.

The main organisations involved in Dickens 2012 are: The International Dickens Fellowship; The Charles Dickens Museum, London; The Dickens Birthplace Museum, Portsmouth; The Dickens House Museum, Broadstairs; The English Association, Camden Council.

Other bodies affiliated to Dickens 2012 are: The Dickens Society; The Dickens Project, Santa Cruz; The Pickwick Clubs; The University of Aberdeen; The University of London and The University of Buckingham.
