Dickens was inspired by London and spent many days and nights walking the streets. On this walk we step back in time to follow the great writer’s footsteps. We pass Lincoln’s Inn where Dickens set his famous novel 'Bleak House'. Take a look at Gray’s Inn where a teenage Dickens worked as a legal clerk. Hear how Dickens helped with the founding of London’s first and most famous children’s hospital. View Dickens’s home, now a museum, walk down the mews where he kept his carriage and hear about his life and relationships. 11.00am (duration of walk approx. 2 hours). Tickets: £8, concs £6.
